What is difference between snow and cloud?

Both snow and cloud are formed due to condensation of water vapor in the air. Cloud is the watery vapor usually found floating in the air very high above the earth's surface. It drifts faster than snow due to increased wind speed at high altitudes. On the contrary snow is found just above the earth's surface and is found distributed in the entire area, not localized similar to the cloud (when dew point temperature is reached, water vapour in the entire area get condensed to form the snow). Clouds are also commonly found near the earth's surface in high altitude places.

The following video taken at Kodaikanal in India shows clouds that look very similar to snow. It is differentiated as a cloud since the condensed water vapour is found to be localised rather than spread across the entire area.
